I am not sure where to look..every so often I see a message that I am
disconnected and do I was to retry or work offline. This is a
Microsoft message.
Is there a connection setting I am missing?
Thank you.
A few years ago I used program called cookie crusher, all web pages went
through this program before displaying on IE,well the program was unstable
and would fail with no indication to tell me so,perhaps you have a security
program that is blocking your access or maybe your modem is failing.
The first thing I would do is to call your ISP and have them check your
line, another time I keeped being disconnected their was a crack in the
cable insulation, moister would seep into the line and short it out. My
point is that it may not be on your end, their may be a bad amplifier down
the road from you,
when you repair your connection your signal strengh starts out very strong
and may overcome a faulty cable line but this signal is reduced (this is
normal) after a connection is made and a disconnect may occur.
Eliminate the connection going to your PC before you drive yourself nuts
looking for something on your computer which may not be there.
Just my 2 cents worth
