KCC create links between Sites

Can't seem to remember this. Does the KCC create the replication links
between Servers in Different sites? and does it use compression for
replication between sites?

Providing the site links have been setup between two sites, yes KCC will
generate connections.
Compression is enabled for traffic between sites, if I remember correctly
anything over 10kb is compressed
