The review date of the kb article has changed but I don't
think the downloads have.

Or is it me getting it wrong?

Not exactly new. SP 8 has been out since November of last year. They did
revise it earlier this year to fix a vulnerability.

Well the hotfix was dated April, so 'new' was actually
the wrong word to use, but I've saying 'SR8' for a while
now, not realising that I had actually moved on from SP8
to MS04-014. (Or has SP8 been updated to include MSJET
4.0.8618.0 ???)

I'm actually having some problems with the current Jet
version, and the sad fact is, I didn't even KNOW that
SP8 had been replaced.
