Hi!
I updated this on my computer 5 or 6 times. Everytimes, it says that it has
been updated. Then it still comes back saying that I have to install it.
Is there a problem with my computer?

Hi!
I updated this on my computer 5 or 6 times. Everytimes, it says that it has
been updated. Then it still comes back saying that I have to install it.
Is there a problem with my computer?

The issue with this patch is turning out to be a common one and many
are reporting this problem. Not much seems to fix it either. I tried
the Knox fix, and it did not work for us for THIS PROBLEM. It's a
pesty issue.

You are not the only on
I'm having the same problem....my automatic update just keeps downloading it even though i've succesfully installed it. I just simply disabled my automatic updates

The fix as previously posted requires that:

1) Three files are in your Program Files\Netmeeting folder:
Callcont.dll, Mst120.dll, Nmcom.dll All should be version 5.1.2600.1348.

2)Rename C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2 Folder.

3) Install KB83572 in SAFE MODE. Can be downloaded here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...9E-DA3F-43B9-A4F1-AF243B6168F3&displaylang=en

4) Sp1 or Sp1a must be installed.

Hope this helps as it did for me after numerous trials and errors.
