We have a problem at our organization where when we
install this update and try to log-in to our intranet site
it will give us this page cannot be displayed. When we
remove this patch you can successfully log-in to the
intranet site. Any Ideas as to why this happens?

I am also experiencing this problem with some external clients.

For a variety of reasons I am not eager to encourage our clients to
install patch Q831167. This patch isn't part of the standard Windows
Update patch set and I fear that it may cause more problems than it
solves. I definitely can't be responsible for the affects that it may
have a client sites.

Does anyone know when this patch (or a Cumulative Security Update
containing this fix) will be released as a standard Windows Update
patch?

Anyone have any ideas how high a priority this problem is over at
Microsoft?
