I also have the same problem. I did as CooCoo said, but
"URLAndExitCommandsEnabled"=dword:00000000 does not exist in my registry.
Should I create this value myself? Thanks in advance.
P.S. its easy Bob, try it!

The Link above will direct you to the KB "Read Me". The file explains in
detail what the update is supposed to do.
Windows XP Web Updater correctly returns all successful installs of the
update file.

if you don´t know how to do the registry entries, copy the following
lines into a file called e.g. mp.reg:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences]
"PlayerScriptCommandsEnabled"=dword:00000000
"WebScriptCommandsEnabled"=dword:00000000
"URLAndExitCommandsEnabled"=dword:00000000

Then simply save it and double click it to merge the contents into the
registry.

Well, my registry values match those 3 mentioned, yet the problem continues
It appears the more fixes we download, the worse off we get.
And SP2 wants to fix us all the time...the outlook is grim
Thanks partner!! yeehaww
