Haven't been able to use Windows Update for god knows how long as haven't
been able to resolve the "Security Settings Doesn't Allow ActiveX ... to
run" and now the Windows Installer is screwed up and I'm getting a 1607
error.
Trying to install the 3.1 update but get an error message the "Cryptographic
Service Is Not Running" yet MSConfig says it is.
Does this ever stop?
I REALLY feel the only way MS is ever going to release a product that should
actually be in the marketplace is once someone actually takes them to court
and wins, receiving some monetary payment for their efforts.
I ask you, how many man hours has been spent "fixing" Windows by people? I'm
willing to bet it's one heck of a lot more time than anything they've spent
creating it!!!
And then they expect "me" to pay money for Vista to just regurgitate the
same frustrations? Not in this lifetime.
It just never ends and it appears they like to keep it this way. Allows them
to shirk any sense of responsibility to their customers.
Shame, shame, shame on them, not even any embarressment.
