Just ICS

I've added the Internet Connection Sharing/Personal Firewall and it works
just fine. I'm able to access the internet via modem. But. The sharing part
doesn't seem to work. What should I do to be able to connect to the internet
from another computer via ICS?

In properties of the dialup connection the tab "Advanced" is empty.

I don't need to protect the computer with the personal firewall.

I've had bad luck with ICS, and found it to run slow. If
you want to keep it easy, I recomend using Sygate Home
Network. If you dont want to use that... make sure that
the other computer on your network can ping the main
computer. if they can not ping, check the TCP/IP
settings of each. I use a 10.10.0.1 for the main
computer at home, and 10.10.0.2 for the seconf computer
and so on. If you are going to use an IP class in the 10
netowrk or 192 network, use a subnet of 255.255.255.0 .
On the second computer make sure that the default gateway
is set to be the address of the main computer. If you go
through all that, then hopefully ICS should work.

I'm sorry to say that the ICS doesn't work even though I've followed your
tip.

Is the sharing function enabled by default?
