Junk mail filter options *not* working

Scenario: Running Outlook 2003 with latests updates on XP/Pro SP2 with latest
updates on my laptop. I've properly configured my POP3 account from my own
server running Windows 2003 and then turned on Junk Mail filter to High.
Everything goes to my inbox. I've bounced between High, Low and Safe lists.
I've got all the country domains and encodings selected and still nothing
goes to my junk mail.

The only thing different on my laptop than on my desktop (which works fine)
is that I've checked the advanced settings "Leave a copy on my server".

Are there any known issues here?

I had a similar problem with a user on a laptop. I have found out that if
you aren't "working online" with your local exchange server then none of
the rules get applied, including junk e-mail. I am not a good enough
outlook manager to know why except that maybe it has something to do with
the location of the actual .pst that exchange uses. Anyway on said laptop I
switched off the "work offline" and presto it started working. Maybe
that'll work for you.
