Junction Points and Network Drives

Is there any particular reason it's not possible to create a junction
point with a network drive? I am maily asking out of curiosity
because I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't be allowed.

Hi Eric,

Unfortunately it is just a limitation of the tool/OS. From my understanding
there is a new implementation of this in Vista and they will be able to work
across a network drive.
