See if you are using some sort of "web accelerator" with NetZero. These
"web accelerators" give you the illusion that your dialup connection is
faster, but what they really are doing is compressing the data
(graphics in particular) so less data comes down. Otherwise, check with
NetZero tech support for help with their programs.

Tried turning off accelerator - still does not work - contacted netzero, the
few things they told me to do are set up the way they say - gave a link to ms
- all of those are ok. it is the "jpeg and gif" that do not display.
Thanks for any help.

I have contacted NetZero - everything they say to do - is set up correctly -
told me to contact ms - what they said is also setup correctly.

I'm not sure what else we can do for you then. You're using proprietary
software provided by NetZero. You're using proprietary NetZero webmail.
If .jpg's and .gif's display correctly in other applications, then
either the NetZero stuff is at fault or you're doing something wrong or
- if this only happens from one correspondent - that person isn't
sending you the actual pictures. There's no way that people who can't
see your computer and who are only reading about your issue can help.

Have a computer-knowledgeable friend - someone who is *really*
knowledgeable about computers, not who just *says* he is - or a
professional look at your computer and see what you are doing.

Someone told me that I should open JPEG and GIF files on my system and to
select open these files with said extensions - what is your take on this.
