I have recently purchased a new computer with WINDOWS XP. I have several disks that have pictures on them that I burned using WINDOWS 98. Now when I put the disk in to view or print the pictures, it is telling me that it is a blank disk. I have tryed to open it up in an explorer program, but no luck. I can however open the pictures up on my WINDOWS 2000 program at work. Can anyone help?

If you created the CDs on your Windows 98 computer using a packet writing
{UDF} application like Roxio Easy Creator, you need to open the CDs in your
old computer or one with the same software and then close the CDs so that
they can be opened on any computer. Windows XP CD function does not support
packet written CDs.

Or, you can install a UDF reader. Roxio has one for their format. You need
to look for it as I do not have link.

Or, you can install a third party application for CDs that supports the UDF
format of your CDs.
