Journal Entry Types

Is there a way to add a custom entry type to the drop-down list supplied
with Outlook? I make frequent visits to construction job sites and would
like to be able to note the journal entry as Site Visit. It is important
that I be able to distinguish my entries in this way, and some specific
others. Anyone know how I can do that?

What you are looking for is something called custom forms. Below are

I am unaware if this is possible for journal but other forms in outlook are
customizable

No, custom forms have nothing to do with creating new journal entry types,
which are merely registry entries. See
