joining results

I have a book database. As expected, one book can have many authors. I'd
like to combine the authors for a book so as to produce only 1 entry of that
book listing its authors. Right now, my query is showing:

Author Title
Cody Doe Night Falls
Katy Jane Oddball
John Smith Night Falls

Instead I would like:
Cody Doe, John Smith Night Falls
Katy Jane Oddball

Any suggestions would be great!

There is a generic concatenate function at

function can be used to combine the related records into a single
expression.

will this function work with a many to many relationship, i.e. books table
and authors table?
