Join to an existing domain

Hi all:

I have two servers. One is Windows 2000 Domain Controler (Server A, Domain
Z), and the other is Windows 2000 stand alone server (Server B).

Now I want to join the server B to the domain Z. I run the DCPROM in the
command prompt. After I enter the domain user name and password, an error
message pops up and said that "Can not list domain tree due to DNS error".

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Kevin,

Check the DNS settings on ServerB, and make sure they point to your internal
DNS servers for the AD, and only your internal DNS servers.
