What is Jet 4.0?
There is an update that I could get for it only, I don't
believe I have it.
What does it do?
Thanks

Peggy,

I think microsoft.public.data.odbc and microsoft.public.data.oledb newsgroups may be better places to get an asnwer for your
question.

Jet 4.0 is the database engine that debuted with Microsoft Access. It's a
file share database (not client server) engine that supports SQL queries,
access to remote data sources (through ODBC drivers) and a very capable,
although not ACID, storage engine. You can talk to it through ADO, DAO,
OLE/DB, ODBC, etc.
