I need to restore this file( Jdbgmgr.exe)on my computer.
I recently deleted it from my computer when I was sent a
virus hoax. Now my java virtual machine will not
download onto my computer. I need to know how to restore
this on my computer.

I'm running XP Home, and I've done the same, so if you
find out, please could you let me know?

That was indeed a virus hoax.

If you deleted this file, you do not have to recover it unless you use
Microsoft Visual J++ 1.1 to develop Java programs on Windows XP, Windows NT
4.0, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 98, or Windows 95.

Microsoft is removing Microsoft Virtual Machine from its websites and
stopping distribution because of a court order:

You can download Sun Java here:
http://java.sun.com/getjava/
 
Have a look at Symantec's web-site. I know the info is
there somewhere. Perhaps under Hoaxs.
 
Google "Jdbgmgr.exe restore" and you'll get dozens of
sources for the answer
