Javascript Links are Dead

Javascript links produce errors when clicked and do
nothing. The code is fine because I've checked with other
user's and they don't have this problem. I've reinstalled
the browser, disabled the firewall. This did not help. I
even reinstalled Sun/Java but I don't think that had
anything to do with the browser's ability to read and
execute script. Can't find the on/off control for
Javascript in the browser so I don't know what it's status
is.

I have on my pc Sun's Java Web Start with the latest
version J2RE_1_4_1_05 no problems at all!
