Javascript inside aspx file

I have put javascript code inside an asxp file but it does not work. When i
use the same script with html file it works fine. What is the problem? Do I
have to declare something in my script?

No problem unless..
You put the js in an asp panel and turn off the visible state.
(And so on)
Do you see the code in the result source?
