Hi, I wonder if some computer genius out there can help
me.
I recently upgraded from Windows ME to XP and it now
seems that Java is not enabled on my computer. I have
checked my intenet settings, security level, and have
downloaded Java from the Java Sun Microsystems website.
Everything downloaded fine but my computer still says
that I do not have Java enabled.
I think the problem may be the following but I do not
know how to solve it:
When I go into Control Panel, Internet Properties,
Advanced and go to Java the following is displayed:
.....Use Java2v1.4.2 for <applet> (requires restart)
I have restarted my computer and browser but the message
remains. Any ideas as to what this means and is there an
easy fix????
Thanks for any help
