Java script errors with Win XP and IE 6

I am getting javascript errors access some sites.

Example http://www.lakemountainresort.com.au I get a
series of "java script error: news... not defined: and no
news items display on the page.

This occurs running EI 6 and Netscape 7 on Win XP home
edition.

The site works when accessed fro Win 95 using EI 5 or
Netscape 4.7, Win 2K using IE 5, IE 6 or Netscape 4.2.

Is there a problem with java scripts under Win XP?

If so how do I get around it?
