java script error

HI, When I try to log on to my colllege prof.'s web page
I get a java script error. I click "yes" to continue
running script but it leaves the page blank. I have a
new dell notebook. I have already spent 2 hours on the
phone with dell to no avail. why is this happening? I
can't find any security settings for my browser either.
Please help if you can.

The problem is not yours, but the web site's.
However it's useless for you to see that message
so go into advanced configuration within ie and uncheck
the box that says display java script errors.

This error might be because of poor coding on your professor's webpage
and not your browser's fault at all. Can anyone else you know access
the page with the same browser you are using? If you would like to post
the url, people here can check it for you.
