Okay - I'll try to be brief. Yesterday, I spent the entire day trying to make
some room on my c drive because it was full to capacity - 0%. Through the
help of many of the threads on these discussion boards, I was able to get it
up to 17% and finally defrag. It is only a matter of time before it happens
again - I'm already down to 10% today. When looking at the different programs
I have installed, I noticed "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3." I'm not
sure how it got on my computer and it is currently taking up a lot of space
(117 mb according to my control panel). It is the second highest program in
terms of mb and I'm wondering if it may be causing my problem. Today the
little Java icon was down at my lower right corner most of the day - never
happened before. I've also had some spyware and virus issues recently, but I
thought they were all taken care of - when I run various programs - they all
come up empty-handed. I've never had my c-drive go to capacity before and I
was given very little notice that I needed to do something about it. In fact,
I thought it was a scam pop-up at first and made the mistake of ignoring it
for a couple days. I am using Windows XP. Any help would be fantastic!!
