java images

My friend is running XP, and its a brand new
pc........She says in her Internet Options, that she has
no listing for Microsofts VM.......She cannot view any
java images..........so I told her to make sure the java
stuff was all checked.......well.....she says she has
nothing to check!
Help!

That's the download URL for the standard JAVA utility
