java error in win xp home edition

hi

today when i turned on my computer and went on the
internet, my java was somehow disabled. i couldnt play
over the internet, couldnt log onto my webbank and soforth.

i tried downloading java again, but it didnt help.

as im very dependant on my webbank i would be very pleased
if someone could give me some hints to fix this problem.
the only thing my bank could aid me with, was a comment:

"it has propably something to do with SSL" ???

How to Troubleshoot Java Problems in Internet Explorer

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
