Hi =?Utf-8?B?bWltaQ==?=,
Dose Word 2002 has the Japanese dictionary? If so, how to look up Japanese
word in Japanese dictionary?
Japanese is not supplied with English versions of Word 2002, no. You'd need
to purchase the Proofing Tools kit for Office XP. And you'd also probably
need to install some IME stuff so that Japanese can be displayed on your
machine. If you want to pursue this, I recommend the
word.international.features newsgroup.

I also must point out there is not a Japanese dictionary even in the Japanese
version of Word, kind of impossible to maintain a dictionary of Japanese,
with over 8,000 (maybe more) characters in one version (Kanji) alone.

There are more words than that in the English lexicon, I think.

English is still based on a thru z though however Japanese is actually 8,000
characters which are not just a to z :->

I fully understand that (my brother has lived in Japan for > 25 years).
Japanese dictionaries do exist, however.

I am not saying they don't, I just am pretty sure MS didn't implement one
into their Word program, I will check on my laptop when I get home :->
