I used to have no problem with Asian language display. Normally for Japanese
folder/file names, the Kanji and kana have about the same size. Recently, the
kana's font has changed to something more curly and smaller, while the Kanji
still retain the original size. Although the kana are still readable, I still
have to struggle with the tiny size. Does anyone have a clue how this
happened? Thanks.

To use japanese characters in file names, you must change your locale to
Japanese in control panel -> regional settings (for WinXP).

Thanks, but I have no problem with understanding the Japanese characters. The
thing is, they are not of equal sizes. The kanji will be about 1.5 times
larger than the kana, making it really annoying. So yeah, I still need help.
