Iy seems to be gone!!!!!

I recently tried to load Medal of honor only to find out that I had to
download some new driver updates, I was also trying to download a device
that would take the place of the missing CD for my mp3 player. Something in
all of this this morning eliminated my windows xp as well as my ie explorer
and I ma unsure what else. the wife had system restore turned off so I cant
just go back and straighten everything out and I am not the best with
computers,is there a simple fix or should I just unplug it and take it for
repairs?

Can anyone help?

It is completely unclear what you did. I have no idea how you could
download a device. I think your own assessment of the situation is the
best - take the machine to a good local professional (not a BestBuy or
CompUSA type of store) and have them set it right for you. They can put
in a new cd-rom if you need one, and tell you if your computer is able
to run Medal of Honor.
