You simply can't unless you write 1000 times the following lines:

"I am the most stupid guy (or gal) on this planet for not respecting our lord
Bill Gates of Microsoft."

Also, you must apologise and contribute $10000 to Bill Gates foundation to get
your sin righted!

Once we receive this we shall be pleased to help you.

In IE, tools, Internet Options, privacy tab, edit button, Address of Web site type
"Microsoft.com" without the quotes, click the allow button. Don't know if this is the
solution but it could be.

Fix your clock you are posting from the future. You are in the same country
as I am, yet your time zone is set to US Mountain (-0700) please correct it,
making sure that your zone is set to GMT and the daylight savings box is
ticked. It's in your own best interests for at least two reasons: -

1) You reduce your chances of receiving support as many will not respond
to post-dated messages, except to tell the poster their settings are wrong.

2) Many servers will delete post-dated posts a) because it upsets
archiving and b) because it's a tactic used by spammers. MS also delete
post-dated messages from these groups.

Please also learn how to 'munge' your address. This is a peer-to-peer
support group and, if you thought you were going to receive personal
attention from an MS employee, then I'm sorry I'm going to have to
disappoint. Please adulterate your address, adding some nonsense *AFTER* the
'@' (do *NOT* put it before, as this leaves the domain valid - the spam
might not reach you, but it will reach your ISP who will be less than happy
and may even terminate your account).

So many words, and not one of them that helps the OP and his question.

Good job, Tom...She probably kicks small dogs and takes from the collection
plate (No, she probably doesn't go)...I have seen NUMEROUS replies (?) from
her such as this one, NONE with any advice...What a sad and frustrated life
she obviously leads.

OK, Will, that one has me stumped. ???

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Tom and Willie

Correcting the date and time is always a good idea. It may be relevant to
the OP's problem so don't be so dismissive of her comments.

This advice is equally sensible:

It's in your own best interests for at least two reasons: -

1) You reduce your chances of receiving support as many will not respond
to post-dated messages, except to tell the poster their settings are wrong.

2) Many servers will delete post-dated posts a) because it upsets
archiving and b) because it's a tactic used by spammers. MS also delete
post-dated messages from these groups.

Gerry, I really was looking at more than THIS post when I made MY
statement/judgement...I can't speak for Tom, but I have seen several replies
by Miss PT, which were more offensive than this reply, which she gave NO
advice in those, but only rude remarks...So, I MY remarks were/are deserved,
when it comes to her...Pay attention, and learn, before you correct people,
and their remarks! You don't have all the facts, so I don't fault you,
really.

Right on, Willie. The two major topics of her posts consist of 1) Set your
system clock, and 2) Don't post in all capital letters. Two useful comments,
but not helpful at all for technical issues. And generally rudely phrased.

A well chosen nym tho, making it apparent that "she" is intentionally posting
this way. A tick is a small irritating insect that bites and sucks blood. And
Perspicacia denotes anal, and nit-picking.

Willie

You don't have all the facts, so I don't fault you, really.

Are but I do! I have seen some of the offensive posts. However, if you were
criticising her for those posts that would be a different matter. All have a
right to contribute to the newsgroups, providing they behave in a reasonable
manner. When they do leave them alone.

Gerry, Point well taken. I can admit when I am wrong, and I was wrong to
criticise her for THIS reply. She at least did give some advise in her
reply this time. I just get upset when people trust in this newsgroup, and
come here for help, and are, for no apparent reason abused instead of
helped. Granted, it is only one or two people who consistantly treat people
this way, and I guess that's life. I will keep MY feelings regarding this
to myself from now on. Thanks for your input. As Will Denny so accurately
put it earlier, "EOT" (End of thread). Have a nice day.

Willie
