Why would you want to use your computer for reasons other than in the course
of your employment. If you have been restricted, then there must be a good
reason - I am sure there would have been something about computer usage in
your contract of employment :-(
It would not be too difficult for them to find out if you misuse the
computer.
Is it worth loosing your job?

Everything you do on an employer's computer is their business. They have a
right to know what you do on the computer, what email you get, and to decide
what things you can't do with the computer. If you legitimately need access
contact the IT folks. Otherwise leave play for your time away from work.
Doing otherwise could get you terminated.

Michelle,

You might want to work hard on that "sleeping" problem too. Many folks
get fired for that as the company doesn't pay you to sleep at work.

No, we will not help you compromise your company's network. You are blocked
for a reason. Go talk to your supervisor.

If you have a problem with your company's network policy, you need to take
that up with your supervisor or network administrator. If you like your
job, don't try to bypass your company's network restrictions.
