ITUNES LOCKS UP

I have Itunes program for my music. Everytime I try to import from a cd the
programs just locks up PERIOD!!! I have to hit reset on the computer to
reboot again. Does anyone know as to why Itunes locks up?? I am just upset
and Itunes & Apple people says its not the program causing this. It is
something from Microsoft during the problem. Please Help Anyone, Thank
You!!!

Did ITunes ever import from your CD without locking up? If so, try a
System Restore to an earlier time and see if it works.

If you don't want to do that, go get the latest version from Apple and see
if that solves the problem.
