I have iTunes on Windows XP Pro. Noticed that ipodservice.exe and
ituneshelper.exe are always running.

This bugs me.

I will never burn CDs with iTunes. (ituneshelper.exe)
I don't own an iPod. (ipodservice.exe)

Why must these programs continuously run on my PC?

This is typically Apple... assuming that that user wants to do
something without even asking, and giving the user no way to actually
decide for themselves.

So quit griping and turn them off !

Start > Run > type msconfig ad enter > Startup > and untick the iTunes
entries > Apply ot OK, then reboot for the changes to take effect.

Cheers,
Jerry
