iTunes Compatibility

I cannot burn the music that I have downloaded from
iTunes...very frustrated. My CD/DVD burner is an HL-DT-
ST DVDRAM GMA-4020B. When I go to burn disc I get error
message "Disc Burner of Software Not Found." Has anyone
run into this problem, and if so, how did you fix?

I have the exact same drive in a Gateway, and the technique described
here solved the problem for me:

All I did was edit the section in gcdroem.cfg so that it included the
drive:

[DVD+RW+R-RW-R IDE DVDMULTI]{RecorderType:IDE/ATAPI}<gcdrmmc.dll>
SONY DVD RW DRU-500A
SONY DRX-500UL
HL-DT-STDVDRAM GSA-4040B
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA-4020B
