Imagine Boeing or Airbus trying to sell a new airplane with 4 jet engines
attached only one of which actually worked.
It'll fly but would you want to fly in it?
After a year of trying to use Vista and then SP1 this is the best I can say
about Vista.
There are better options out there to get where you want to go.

Sucks to be you. Stay on the ground where you belong, with your head in the
sand.

Well then please exercise your better options and use something else. BTW,
all four engines are working well on my Vista plane and it fly's like a
dream and no co-pilot needed.

Sounds like you are a perfect candidate for Ubuntu. Ping Alias and he will
give you all the details. Then you can migrate over to their forum and
bother those folks.

iacy,

Vista works fine for millions of people. I have had no problems with my
Vista Ultimate and it works very well. I am extremely satisfied with it and
will never go back to XP for everyday use.
You should seek help with your Vista problems. Once you learn to use it
I'm sure you will be pleased.
