When i open My Documents outside of an Office application (Word, Xcel, PPT,
etc), the folders are listed first in alphabetical order followed by files,
aslo in apha order.

When i open MY Documents from an Office application, for example, Word,
items are listed in reverse alphabetical order beginning with filenames and
ending with folders.

Anyone know why and what i have to do to correct this condition?

Thanks, Tuck

In Office application, you will find a list icon on the top right corner.
Click on it, select Arrange icons, and select By Name.

I think it may be as simple as this:
Click on the View icon in the Toolbar.
Make sure Details is selected.
Now, you will have column headers for each column.
By clicking the "Name" column header, you can reverse the order.
The folder should remember this view.

Thanks. I've looked for the icon; no luck finding it. I am sure i am
missing something. Can you be a bit more specific?

Tuck
