Evan

Hello. I am using PowerPoint 2002 (XP) to create a
presentaion that uses inserted sounds, animations, and
many Visual Basic textboxes. I have been able to save
this presentation up until yesterday. When I start PP it
says, "Some controls on this presentation cannot be
activated. They might not be registered on this
computer.". When I try to save the file it says, "There
is an active inserted or linked object that can't be
saved automatically. Please close the object first.". The
only changes I made yesterday was changing the font size
in the textbox. Can you help me?

Hi Evan,

If you want to send me a smalll presentation which exhibits this problem,
when the change is made (along with detailed instructions about what text
box was modified and how), I would be glad to have our testers look at it
for you.

You can send the file to my throwaway e-mail account (junkhousejohn@<put
what goes here for hotmail.com>)

Thanks,

John Langhans
