Issue with using Outlook outside of a LAN and downloading email

I work outside (offsite) of the my organization's LAN using Microsoft
Exchange Server. Is there any way I can access my pst file from
outside of the LAN (over the internet)? (Having access to mail,
calendars, contacts, etc.)

I use the web access feature, but it is not even close to what Outlook
has to offer.
I know how to download my emails from the server onto Outlook but I
wanted the full functionality of Exchange server and outlook.

Also another question, whenever I send and receive messages, my emails
will be downloaded repeatedly when it had already been downloaded. So
there will end up multiple copies of each email on my local Microsoft
Outlook. Is there anyway to stop this from happening? (I know it's
also possible to not leave a copy of the email on the server, but I
would rather leave a copy so I can access the emails from my web
access)

Thanks in advance.

You can't access a pst over the network.

To access your mailbox in Outlook, you'll need to use VPN. Speak to your
admin to find out if it's offered.
