Issue with security patches

Since installing the August security patches something has been
crashing when I shut down Windows. The message is too quick to read and
there is nothing in the event viewer. Does anyone know of any specific
issues with these? I'd rather avoid removing them one by one as there
are seven of them.

Why did you install the patch? What was broken with your PC?
