Issue in button click event in content page

Hi,

I am having a master page & a content page in my project. My content page
contains button click event codings.(default.aspx.vb)
But the button click event is not getting fired when I click the button.
Why is it happening?

How to make execute of the button click event codings?
 
nobody explaining the problom of raising events such as onclick in the content page
