I've this weird problem for ages, and have not been able to either diagnosE/solve it. The prob is, tht when my dial-up connection disconnects from the net automatically, the tc icon in the taskbar still shows it connected, and doesnt notify me abt the disconnection. it shows connected in the taskbar, even though it is disconnected. it shud rather go away immediately and then notify me this dialog box: "link to xxx failed. reconnect pending," but it hardly happens. i ve to then manually dc from the taskbar or sumwhere else and then reconnect it
whats happening? resolution???????
