Yes, and all the viruses were created by Microsoft to frustrate you, don't
forget. Sounds like you posted a valid e-mail address in a usenet post -
this is the most common cause if it's the SWEN virus (not unique to MS
newsgroups). For regular email viruses, perhaps more of your acquaintances
need antivirus software, as all computer users do?

G'Day Nick!

Is it possible that you have upset a number of people
elsewhere with this kind of ranting and raving?

When you get to work tomorrow, you will find an
empty e-mail with the Subject: MailCheck - you'll
also find a copy of this post - Point Made??

Working for the Australian Federal Police is probably
a risk in itself!!!

The receiving of virus e-mail is a characteristic risk
of the Internet, and nothing really to do with Microsoft!!

A number of us use Microsoft software without this kind of
drama - perhaps the amount of attention you are receiving
suits you - and it's just the quality you find offensive?

I speak from some experience, having been caught ONCE by
Spammers (I had to change my e-mail address).

As I write this in Outlook Express, using a Tablet and the WinXp
the language bar (Handwriting Recognition - I am a lousy typist),
I reckon Microsoft is not too bad!!

(Office) Outlook is my main e-mail client with really very few
problems! Wha'da'ya'reckon?

My inbox each day for the past couple of weeks consists of a few valid mail
items and somewhere between 100 and 150 virus-laden messages that have all
been sent by people stupid enough to be using MS e-mail
software...congratulations to Microsoft for providing the products needed
to make the Internet as unusable as possible.
