iSearchToolbar and gcASCleaner problems

I am having trouble with the new antispyware beta. Since
I've installed the beta, gcASCleaner begins running
before my desktop installs. Then it hangs. I have
to "EndTask" it. It doesn't end the first time, and I
have to repeat "endtask". Immediately after the
gcASCleaner ends, the iSearch desktop toolbar program
begins running. I then have to "endtask" the desktop
search program. Immediately when I do that, my computer
jumps straight to the internet explorer.

I've repeated this process and it's the same every time.

The thing I can understand is, when I run the Antispyware
Beta, it finds this iSearch.DesktopSearch as a spyware.
It removes it, and states rebooting must take place.
Then, it all repeats again.

Please tell me what's wrong with the Antispyware Beta
hanging up with its gcASCleaner program (preventing
regular desktop from loading), then, immediately
connecting me to the internet when I end the Desktop
Toolbar program.

are you turning off system restore?

if that isn't the problem, rebooting in safe mode and
removing the file manually may help.
