Isass.exe

Hello
Can anyone help. My windows XP fails to bootup showing
the message Isass.exe and SAMLIB.dll not found. I have
tried using the XP cd to repair the file but when it gets
to SAMLIB.dll it says it can not load it.
If I skip this file it still will not boot.
Is my system dead and therefor ethe only option is to re
format and try again???

First try a Repair Installation. You might get lucky. I never have and
have always had to do a format and clean install, but you might have
been born under better starts than I. Here are links to information
