I can not install anti virus software. the above component is missing or so
the error message tells me. Any ideas?
 
Hi,

Contact the AV software distributor as that is not a WinXP file, so they
should be supplying it. It could be a problem with the installer, or perhaps
your temp folders are clogged full of leftovers and the file cannot be
located by setup. You might try deleting the contents of these folders:

C:\Windows\temp
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\local settings\temp

Clean out all your temp/tmp folders.
