Some programs requires some VB components to be installed. I newly installed
XP Pro CS2. Where do I find and install VB?

Thanks,

Sinan

My guess is that you are seeing prompts about missing or not having VB Runtime files.
Do 2 things. Make a list of the programs you start, which then lead to this type of message.
And write down the complete & exact message. Post back here.

Visual Basic is an entire programming/software development tool, which you have to buy. Unless you write programs, I'd say you're missing some runtime files, which you can download free from Microsoft.

Here's the homepage for MS Downloads

Are you asking about the VBRUN dll files? If so, they are widely available
for free download at lots of web sites. The next time you need one, make a
note of the exact file name, then Google it and download it.
