Im new to RAID. I want to RAID0 my harddisk and install multiple OSes.
1-Windows XP 64bit
2- Windows 2003 Server
3- Windows Vista

Will they recognize the RAID harddisk? do i need to install any special
driver? or is this all done in BIOS. Also to setup RAID 0 do I need 2 HD of
the exactly same model? or just same size?

Thanks,

Howard

Start with a Google for basic RAID how-to sites and learn about it. Then
narrow your Googling down to RAID+OS-of-choice for more information.
Posting in newsgroups specific to the OS you want to install will help,
too. Here is a list of all the MS newsgroups:

BTW, RAID 0 is an excellent way to lose all your data - if one disk
fails, you lose everything.

I agree completely, RAID 0 is one of the dumbest data storage ideas
ever. With data throughput of modern hard drive subsystems the supposed
performance gain is not worth the risk.
