I have several thousands lot of e-mails sent and received in Outlook Express
6.

I'd like to start using Outlook 2003 as my default post client... is it
possible to export, copy, transfer or whatever you call it to Outlook 2003?
Didn't find what I'm looking for in the Help file.

If there is a procedure, where can I learn it from? Is it on-line or do I
have to buy a book? If yes, which one?

I'm all ears...

Of course you need a book- mine. :)

Seriously though, open OE and use the File, Import and Export option to
export the mail to Outlook. You'll need both OE and OL configured on the
same computer to do this, but it's quite easy - just be sure to export from
OE, don't use Import on Outlook's File menu as the dates will get messed up.

Here is how you can do it.:
Switch from Microsoft Outlook Express
If Microsoft Outlook detects Microsoft Outlook Express on
your computer during setup, you will be given the option
to import Outlook Express e-mail messages, address books,
and settings into Outlook. If you have already set up
Outlook and did not select this option during setup,
perform the following steps:

To import Outlook Express e-mail account information
On the File menu, click Import and Export.
In the Import and Export Wizard, click Import Internet
Mail Account Settings, and then click Next.
Follow the rest of the instructions in the wizard.

books
On the File menu, click Import and Export.

Mail and Addresses, and then click Next.

Pepe,

If you are all ears, maybe you should see someone about
that. I hear that plastic surgeons can do wonders.

I'm sure they can... unfortunatly, they can't answer my question, and looks
like neither can you.

Looks like you're not quite up to the task of taking Jay Leno's job just
yet, John.

Sorry to burst your bubble...

Thanks for the other answers in this thread...

Thanks, Diane! You make it sound so easy... is it?

Thanks a lot for the thorough answer, missy. Looks like it's a lot easier
than I thought...
