Hi

Is there any problem installing a AGP 8X video card in a PC with the motherboard only support 4X interface speed?

Normally none, but why not check the two places that have
accurate data, the mobo makers and video maker's web
sites/manuals.

Be aware it will only run a 4x speed.

The speed difference is not a problem, since the AGP card will sense that
the MB is only good for 4X and will downshift accordingly.

But read the specs for the AGP card and the MB to make sure they are
compatible w.r.t voltage. Smoke is a bad thing.
