Is there ant way to prioritize by date?

So, are we to understand you have multiple rows of data, each with a date
column that you want sorted?

Ensure you have one of the cells in this table selected, then go to Data -
Sort and pick the field with your date. Select Ascending or Descending. Hit
OK.
