Is there a way to insert a standard signature into word (same as outlook)

Currently, I open a new outlook message, do a ctrl-c, then go to my word document and ctrl-v. I was looking for a way to just insert a signature from Word. Is there a way, or is this work-around that I've been doing the only way?

Have you looked into the possibility of creating a signature directly from
Outlook?

slightly different) > Signature button > Create...

JM, I think you misread his question. From what I understand, he has a signature in Outlook but wants to have an automatic signature in Word, just how he has it in Outlook. He is currently copying FROM Outlook and pasting it into Word. The only thing I can think of is using autotext. I think you go to Insert and then Autotext. I believe you can create a signature in there. Good luck

<Blush> :-o

I got hung up on the "from Word" bit... It got me to picture it as if he
wanted to get something FROM word to Outlook.... But you are right, the
message as a whole is quite clear!

Another solution is to have a template with the signature already typed out
on it. Then all he has to do is create a document from that template
whenever he wants the signature... all he will have to do is type above the
signature.

Of course, if he wants it on the fly, then, as you suggest, Autotext is the
way to go.
Or even auto corrections...
